This week I had the chance to teach some French lessons to French speaking children in Grade 3 and Grade 4. Once again, I was thrilled to see these children enjoying speaking in French.
For those who are starting to learn English but speak French at home, their daily French lesson is clearly a well-deserved break: they can express their ideas more efficiently, share their humour and feel more secure and comfortable. For others, French is a second or even third language, and the efforts that they have to make are important. In both cases, I was impressed with the progress our children are capable of making thanks to the regularity of their lessons, their collaboration in class and their eagerness for the French language.
