We are delighted to welcome families who are interested in learning more about our secondary school to join us for a special event at the Swiss International School on Saturday 3 March at 10.30 am.
The event will be hosted by our Head of School, Philip Bradley, and the Heads of Secondary School, Lana Kulas and John Godbold. Parents will gain invaluable information on the International Baccalaureate Middle Years and Diploma Programmes, and learn more about what makes a secondary school education at SISQ so unique. We will be joined by some of our students in secondary school who will talk about their experiences and opportunities at the school.
In addition, the Principal of Surval Montreux (our sister school in Switzerland), Patricia Woodhouse, has traveled all the way from Switzerland to be with us for this event. Mrs Woodhouse will talk about the school, an all-girls boarding school for girls aged 12 to 19, and the summer camp they offer for girls aged 10 to 16 years.
Mrs Woodhouse commented: ‘I am delighted to be visiting SISQ on behalf of Surval Montreux, Switzerland and relish the opportunity to develop future links between these two outstanding sister schools. I am looking forward to introducing myself personally to as many families as possible who will join us for the event. I am also grateful to SISQ giving me the opportunity to talk about our own unique school!’
"This is a wonderful opportunity for parents, both current and future, to gain an insight into the unique design and aims of the International baccalaureate programme and learn more about the skills and dispositions it develops in our students. It is also wonderful to have Surval visiting and supporting us. Their summer programs are a perfect compliment to our vision and I hope many of our students will consider the wonderful enrichment the summer programs offer", Mr Bradley added.
