Art celebrations happening at SISQ

Our first term of the school year is rapidly coming to an end and we will recognise this in the most appropriate way with a celebration of learning. On Wednesday afternoon at 13.15, in what is currently called the “Boys Building”, there will be a performance of musical items supported by works from the visual arts department.

Students from KG2 -G5 (with their teachers) are excited to present to you the skills they have developed in their music and art lessons. Music and Art are important components in the PYP as they provide opportunities for transdisciplinary connections to be formed and allow students to express their learning in unique ways. These subject areas generate creative thinking and develop fine motor skills. The children need you to be their audience in order for them to have an authentic experience as performers. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed!
