SISQ wins QRS Challenge!

Students of the Swiss International School have marked their arrival on the Qatar running scene with a phenomenal victory at their first ever race meeting. The team came out in great numbers to run 3 kilometers on a purpose made track at Oxygen Park in Doha where they competed against 17 other schools based across the whole of Qatar.

All of our runners showed tenacity and grit to finish the distance and receive their medals. Notable individual performances by our students secured victories in their categories including Brieuc De Mol’s win in the under 12 boys in race 2 and Youssef and Yessine Aouida taking first in each of their categories in the final race of the series. Our team gathered 25 points in race one, 39 points in race two and finished the series with 44 points in the third race with a grand total of 108 points; which brought them 32 points ahead of the second placed team.
